NEMBBA’s entertainment contest is being held on Sunday 27th September 2026 at The Whitworth, Darley Dale and is open for all bands, including unregistered bands. Bands are invited to perform a 20 minute entertainment programme, with prizes for the first three bands and the highest placed band in each section.

The band are pleased to once again be involved in the service at St Leonards Church, Shirland, where we will honour and remembrance those that gave their lives for us.

NEMBBA’s open own-choice test piece contest, which is being held on Sunday 15th November 2026 at the Post Mill Centre, Market Street, South Normanton DE55 2EJ, for all sections (fourth to championship) together with sections for un-registered and training bands to play a 15-minute programme.

Shirland Band are looking forward to making their return to Palmer Morewood to entertain both regulars and guests to the club.
