DESCRIPTION:On Saturday June 8th we will be holding a Training Band open morning at Shirland Welfare\nAny children who already play a brass instrument or who would like to learn are invited to pop in\, along with their parents\, at any time between 10am and 1pm\, to find out more about the Training Band \nWe will have a range of instruments available for people to try out and members of our training band team will be on hand to answer any questions and provide information and advice. Small prizes and the opportunity to bang the big gong for all children that have a go at playing any of the instruments. \nWe are currently trying to rebuild the beginners section of our training band so no prior experience is necessary\, just a desire to come along and have a go. \nFrom 12:30 onwards the main band will be rehearsing upstairs\, and all are welcome to listen in. \nRefreshments will be available throughout the morning. \n \n  \n  \n  \n
